Full-sized double bed, storage for clothing and personal items, table and chairs for dining or working from home. Relax on comfy sofa while watching movies on the large TV. Shared main entrance with one other studio room in other half of the property's lower level. Each studio room has its own keypad lock for security and privacy. Stacked washer/dryer is shared by those two rooms only. Friendly folks live in separate upper level (not connected). Private off-street parking. Tranquil setting. This is a smoke-free, pet-free studio room. Rural character, but only 2 miles from shopping center and many restaurants and other businesses. Shepherd University is 11 miles away. Easy 30-minute drive to Leesburg or Winchester, VA, and 40 minutes to Frederick or Hagerstown, MD. Martinsburg and Harpers Ferry, WV, are 15 minutes away. Duffields MARC (commuter rail) station is 6 miles; Harpers Ferry AMTRAK station is 10 miles away.

The space

This studio room is ideal for a single person who wants privacy, but not isolation. The private entrance opens to 7 steps down to the foyer. The stacked washer/dryer, and a few cleaning supplies in the foyer are shared by the Buttercup room and the Clover room, which is another studio room across the foyer from each other. There is no kitchen, but the Clover room has a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and plates, utensils, mugs and glasses.
