****Sorry, no longer available. Cancelled my lease and moved out at the end of June.**** I live in a 3bdrm, 2bth 1,740sqft apartment on the 12th floor of the Spectra at Sibley building. My ex moved out so I decided to eliminate my office space, furnish both rooms, and start renting them to travel nurses and other traveling professionals. When it comes to a minimum length of stay, I'm flexible, but the longer the better. Immediate availability. Cost per person per room will vary based on your needs. Room pricing is based on demand, because any smart businessman would rather rent the rooms than have them empty for months at a time, so like in real estate, just give me your best offer and I'll pick the best one for me given the number of offers I'm receiving at this current time of the year. Now, that being said, the lowest I've rented the rooms is for $1,100, and that's due to the lower demand during the winter months. The yearly average rental price for Room A(the bigger room) is $1,400/mth, and for Room B it's $1,300/mth per room w/ all utilities and internet included, but open to negotiating with professionals or travel nurses traveling with a spouse and kids for the right amount depending on demand and the season. Late Spring to early fall is the busiest season in upstate NY, since people tend to avoid coming here during winter months. I've only had 2 tenants(sisters) in the same room once, so I had to charge them a little more that. For a 6 nights and 7 days stay the price is $500. Rooms are fully furnished with king-size beds from Nectar, 4 king-sized pillows(2 heavy cool comfort from Tempurpedic), an 8-drawer chest, 2 end tables, and a desk with a comfy office chair. Both rooms come with TVs for daytime viewing and up to 100" projectors that point towards the ceiling for a more immersive and comfortable nighttime entertainment. One room (Room A) has a walking closet and direct access to the bathroom, the other room (Room B) just has a regular-sized closet. The bathroom would have to be shared with anyone renting the 2nd room and your house guests for the most part. Payments can be made in cash, personal checks, Zelle, and Stripe for free. If you use Paypal, CashApp, or Venmo, then you'll need to include whatever fee they'll charge me for withdrawing the money the same day, but you can avoid those fees by paying at least 5-7 days before your payment due date. Personally, I prefer Zelle. Max weight of pets: 80lbs Pets live in this building, but I don't have any pets of my own, so the only pets in the apartments will be the ones from people renting. We have a free "Bark Park" where you can go to groom and bathe your pets. Finally, I love cats, but recently I've had a couple of very random allergic reactions to cats where I start sneezing, itching very badly, and my eyes get irritated, so I guess I'd have to keep monitoring that. Well-behaved, quiet, and fully potty-trained pets only.
