Looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to call home during a temporary assignment, relocation, clinical rotation, graduate program, or other extended stay? LOCATION & LIFESTYLE This furnished room is located in a quiet 2-bedroom ranch home in Rochester's 14612 area. The home is shared with the homeowner, with no other tenants, creating a peaceful, low-key environment that is especially well suited for traveling healthcare professionals and other working professionals. One of the best parts of this location is getting the convenience of Rochester while still being close to nature. Lake Ontario and Ontario Beach Park are approximately 5 minutes away, with Turning Point Park and Durand Eastman Park also nearby. Rochester's major hospitals, universities, employers, shopping, restaurants, and outdoor recreation are all within easy reach. SHARED HOME You'll have access to the shared areas of the home, including the fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, back patio, fenced backyard, laundry, and unfinished basement storage. The backyard includes a patio with outdoor seating and a raised garden bed that you're welcome to enjoy. The tenant has dedicated refrigerator and pantry/cabinet space and full use of the kitchen and laundry. The dining room table can also be used as an additional workspace. BATHROOM The main-floor full bathroom is shared with the homeowner, and there is also a half bathroom in the basement. Only two people will be using the home: you and the homeowner. YOUR HOUSEMATE I'm a quiet, clean, considerate, and communicative homeowner. I work outside the home during the day and occasionally work from home in the evenings from the basement. I don't frequently have guests or entertain, and I keep an early schedule, typically going to bed around 10 PM and waking around 6 AM. This home is best suited for someone who appreciates a peaceful, respectful environment rather than a party house. I take care of cleaning the shared areas of the home, including vacuuming and mopping, and simply ask that you clean up after yourself and leave shared spaces as you found them. PETS A friendly 17-lb mini Bernedoodle lives in the home. A renter's dog may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on compatibility with my dog. Any pet must be approved in advance. No smoking or drug use anywhere on the property. PARKING & TRANSPORTATION Driveway and street parking are available, with access to the attached 1-car garage. The nearest RTS bus stop is approximately a 17-minute walk away at Lake Avenue & Denise Road.
