Welcome to the up and coming neighborhood of Oak Park! This beautiful custom designed tiny home feels surprisingly spacious with high ceilings, a main room and guest loft, central kitchen, full size bathroom, and large patio with lights and seating. This home includes fast wifi, desk space, television with Roku, and a single unit washer/dryer for convenience. The street backs up to McClatchy Park, is walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, and more, and is one mile from the UCD Medical Center. THE SPACE: This home was personally designed by the owner with much heart and attention to detail. Hand-drawn floor plans and custom stained glass decorate the space. White bright walls, lots of windows and warm wood floors and ceiling panels make it light and cozy. An additional unit above the bed is the perfect place to curl up and read a book. The central kitchen, open shelf units, and high ceilings make the space feel larger than expected. Finally, the amenities, thoughtful layout, and comfortable design make it convenient and easy. THE HOOD: Oak Park is a quickly changing neighborhood with much to offer. The tiny home is on 6th avenue which backs McClatchy Park where you can find disc golf, tennis and basketball courts, a seasonal farmers market, frequent barbeques and community gatherings, and plenty of people out for walks with dogs, families, and friends. Just a 5-10 minute walk will bring you to a variety of restaurants, ice cream and tea, gift shops, boutiques, a nursery, a theatre, and more, including some favorites: Oak Park Brewery, Fixins Soul Kitchen, Old Soul Coffee Roasters, and Faria Bakery. Oak Park is located about a mile from the UCD Medical Center, an easy 10 minute drive to midtown Sacramento, and close to other great Sacramento parks and points of interest. This neighborhood is also unique in hosting a number of events such as First Fridays and Gather - seasonal once monthly community events with food, music, and vendors, as well as an annual Dia de los Muertos celebration.

Hi! My name is Elisa and I designed and built this tiny home in 2016 and lived in it for 4 years. Being 5'10" had something to do with how open and spacious it feels. The home is fully equipped with everything you need washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, television, bathroom essentials, and cleaning supplies. The tiny home sits in back of long narrow property. Fencing is up to provide privacy. A paved patio is for the use of the tenant, and patio chair pads, hammock, and bench pad are available.
