This well appointed studio recently built and ready to move in - that means brand new hot water heater, appliances, heating, and cooling. The light and bright interior features a memory foam full-size mattress and an extra plump sofa to relax into at the end of the day. High windows provide plenty of light while ensuring privacy and security, and well insulated walls and dual pane windows make the interior quiet and peaceful. The rear of the home opens onto a private yard with a lovely patio to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. The font door is well off the main street, and accessed through a private side gate. On your time off, walk to all that the vibrant Oak Park and East Sacramento neighborhoods and enjoy all they have to offer. You will be walking and biking distance to dozens of excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping, including the Broadway Triangle and the Gourmet Corridor of Folsom Blvd. Plus just steps away from the famous and picturesque Fab 40's and walking distance to the light rail and bus stops.

The space

The Med Center Cottage was newly built with comfort and privacy in mind. The private cottage is set back more than 150 feet from the street behind a gate and with its own private back yard. It is fully separate from the main house, and lives as its own space. The interior is thoughtfully laid out to maximize the studio space to make it feel cozy without being cramped. It also has blackout curtains for day sleepers. Neighborhood: The property is located right in the UC Davis Med Center neighborhood, a half a block from the med center itself. This is one of the original neighborhoods in Sacramento with charming tree-lined streets. This neighborhood is right between the charming and very fancy East Sacramento, with some of the best restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping in town. Just south is the bustling and lively Oak Park, with a vibrant arts and downtown scene.
