Our Canyon Casita is nestled in the back lower garden of our lovely North Park home. This San Diego oasis is in a very quite neighborhood adjacent to Juniper Canyon. The casita is attached to our main house, but feels completely separate and a private space. A secure gated entrance to the back property leads you through the garden and to the front deck of the casita and the beautiful double french door entrance . The tranquil sound of the owner's waterfall pool creates a unique and relaxing environment (pool use is not currently part of casita rental). Laundry is on owner premise and can be coordinated with owner. Our family has friendly cats who may pay a visit in the garden space and 2 lovely labs (who are separated by garden fence).

The space

Our casita has a Spanish/Moroccan influence in design and is a very spacious 1 bedroom, 1Bath relaxing retreat -- with a kitchen and living room. Lovely front porch deck overlooking private garden. Comfortably fits 2 people. Unique, height adjustable desk (standing/sitting) that can also serve as a kitchen island and coffee table. Neighborhood: THIS IS THE BEST neighborhood in SAN DIEGO - we are in the quiet area of North Park and on the border with South Park!! A very walkable and bike friendly area - so easy to get to many coffee shops, restaurants, Balboa Park, North & South Park, the Zoo and downtown. Also a quick 10 min. drive to Coronado Beach and 15-20min. to La Jolla.
