Simple one-bedroom garden cottage with private entrance and garden in historic North Park neighborhood. It's not luxurious but it's comfortable and if you are looking for a quiet retreat in the city close to nature then this is for you. The queen bed faces the view of the private garden and there is a kitchenette with full fridge, microwave, oven with four burner stove, and pots, pans and dishes. We are very centrally located and close to all major freeways and within walking distance of Balboa Park, the Zoo, fine dining, wine bars, golf course, disc golf and more! If your car isn't too long you can use the driveway and if not then street parking is available. There is also a friendly cat who hangs out outside most of the day :-) Please note: there is NO ONSITE LAUNDRY. We require a soft credit check, references and pay stubs. First month's rent, cleaning fee and deposit are due on signing. Quiet and respectful tenants only. We prefer Solo occupancy because it is a small space. Please send a message if you are interested.

The space

This is a small granny flat that comfortably fits two people. Its a quiet and cozy space with a private garden and entrance. You also have exclusive use of the driveway. Neighborhood: The cottage is located on the border of North Park and Golden Hills. This is a historic neighborhood and very walkable. There are lots of hiking trails and you can walk to Balboa Park, the golf course, disc golf and many restaurants. We are central to many hospitals, three miles away from the Navy base and a five minute drive from the 5, 805 and 94 freeway.
