Its furnished with intention: clean lines, warm tones with an open flow between living, kitchen and dining area; double french doors lead to the 800 square foot deck which is set up for dining, relaxing our just watching life on the bay. And the neighborhood? Its like that cool aunt who travels a lot but still bakes perfect cookies. Its quiet, residential, but five minutes down a charmingly sneaky staircase and boom youre in Liberty Station. Former naval base turned artsy, foodie wonderland. Its 1920 architecture preserved and transformed into restaurants, workspaces, schools, stores, an Arts District, big grassy lawns to play on, and walking paths along a bay inlet. Point Loma has its own little village less than a mile away with more shops and restaurants, and outdoor spaces - La Playa Trail, Shelter Island and Kellogg Beach. You can easily explore nearby neighborhoods - like Ocean Beach, Mission Beach (sunsets), Mission Hills, Bankers Hill (original San Diego), Little Italy(mangiare!) all of these without getting on a freeway.
