Available April 1: The Ocean Beach studio of your dreams, assuming you have very specific dreams about this particular studio! This charming 400 sq.ft.-ish studio has everything you need, and a few things you didn't need but secretly wished for (and apparently dreamed about, again assuming you did have that specific dream). This one-of-a-kind Ocean Beach landmark is located in Ocean Beach (duh), and in fact in the heart of OB! It's centrally located to everything. It's a block away from OB's main street, confusingly not named Main Street but instead named Newport Avenue. It's two blocks away from the ocean and the beach, which means the namers of Ocean Beach got that part right, at least. And here you are, essentially the mayor of OB, if mayorship was determined by geographical proximity to the heart of OB, in which case you would win! Of course, renting this apartment doesn't make you the ACTUAL mayor of OB, for reasons both political (this is not how mayors are elected) and practical (OB does not have or elect a mayor). But spiritually, renting this apartment means you ARE Ocean Beach, in body and soul. Congratulations, Mr./Ms. Mayor, the results are in: you are awesome! There is no apartment more quintessentially OB than this one right here. It is: In OB There are also A TON of other amazing things about this apartment that we want to tell you about, if only because you, by renting the apartment, will find out about them almost immediately! This apartment also has the following features: * Whimsically inspired by, but in no way a copyright infringement, of Dr Seuss! *One of OB's original lifeguard chairs! [Note: By "One of OB's original lifeguard chairs," we mean a chair built by brief OB resident Tim Lifeguard, amateur furniture maker and prior resident of this apartment from April 2020-April 2020.] Sit in a piece of history and reminisce about a simpler time! [Additional Note: Again, we are taking about, at most, a few years ago. Feel free to reminisce, if you want, about that far-off time when COVID made everyone wash their Doritos bags with bleach and you had STRONG opinions about people's mask decisions. But this is not a magical time portal to the 1920s or anything. Wouldn't we have led with that? That would have been the only thing in this ad. "Rent this apartment and go to the 1920s." No other text or notes or any of this bracketed noise. Get your head in the game.] Yay! The Roaring 20s! [Additional Note: The 2020s. The other guy is over-promising.] *All solar, all the time! Brought to you by the ancient Greek god Helios, and also portrayed by you in the upper left corner of almost all construction-paper-based artwork you made in elementary school, sometimes wearing a pair of astronomically impossible sunglasses, The Sun charges photovoltaic cells mounted on top of your apartment's roof and converts it into energy, somehow. We were just a little bit high when the solar guy came around. Something with an energy coefficient? Probably a lot of math involved, and trigonometry, unless those are both the same thing in some way. Those math folks are always coming up with something. Point is, electricity is included. Congrats to you! [Note: "All solar, all the time" guarantee not applicable at night time for obvious reasons. Think of this statement as explaining why you don't have to worry about an electric bill, not, you know, any other weird interpretation of the phrase. [Additional Note: If it is not obvious, it's because night is essentially the opposite of solar (which means "of the sun"). The sun does not come out at night. I feel like I may have over-explained this.]] *Central heating/AC! Remember, however, that you live in San Diego, and you live two blocks away from the beach. So why do you even have these options? Can you imagine your friends back home in [insert non-San Diego hometown here] if they heard you cared about such things? "You have gotten soft, [your name they would say. Rude! They didn't even use your actual name. To that negativity, we would say two things: First, this is YOUR life. Not theirs. You have found the best apartment in the world and you are living your best life in the best apartment in the world, and they are obviously JEALOUS. They need professional help, to be honest. You are their friend, but you are not their therapist. Second, sometimes it gets cold/hot in OB! We got you covered. You don't even have to tell your friends. They are so judgemental, jeez. You need better friends, to be as honest as the previous point. And you will meet them if you rent this apartment! *Utilities included! With the solar and the AC and whatnot, we could never figure out how to make you pay for anything. Our ineptitude is your gain! Way to go! You stuck it to your landlord before you even signed the lease! That landlord is an idiot. *A really big deck that sticks way out! Some people say big decks are not important, and really it's what you do with the deck that matters. But if you'll notice, those people tend to have decks that are on the smaller side. You won't have that problem if you rent this apartment. If anything, your deck will be TOO big for some folks to handle. That's a problem, but it's a good problem to have. You could easily get three or four people on your deck. All at once. Nice. Make this beach bungalow yours today! No smoking allowed. Renters may pay with cash, check, or via apps such as Zelle or Venmo, but not with other, nonexistent apps such as Zenmo or Velle. Like so many places in OB, parking is on-street. Note that there is no W/D in-unit, but there is a laundromat in the next building over! About 50 feet away from your unit.
The space
There is a laundry mat less than half a block away. Not attached to the unit. Neighborhood: Come live in San Diego as it's meant to be lived in!
