This unit is literally steps to the beach and the bay. Come for the precious views, the sunsets, the sunrises, the salt air, the beach life. Drink coffee during your morning stroll on the boardwalk. Sip a Mai Thai in the afternoon then breathe in the views from the jetty of rolling water and boats coming in through the Mission Bay Chanel. Volleyball, surfing, swimming, sailing, fishing, rollerbladingtry some new activities while you're here and immerse yourself in beach living. Its worth the little bit extra it takes to live here now that you've come all this way to San Diego. With parking on site, a washer/dryer on the premises, and shops, bars, restaurants, and markets within walking distance, you may just never leave. (As an aside, the living room sofa was replaced with a queen size foldout sofa bed for guests, the dining table was replaced, a living room chair was replaced, and patio furniture was added to the side yard since the photos were taken last year).

The space

Tucked away in the best part of the Golden Strand, at the southern end of quieter side of the beach in South Mission, this location is perfect for biking up the boardwalk to all the clubs, restaurants, and shops from here into Pacific Beach. South Mission is a peninsula, so less people cruise through here than Pacific Beach and North Mission. Although surrounded by rentals, this part of the beach has a thriving little community. Folks who live here never want to leave.
