Situated on the second floor above the main house garage, this unit features a private entrance and its own dedicated address, providing complete independence. Upon entering, you will find a bright, airy living and sleeping space flooded with natural light from four large windows. For your comfort, the studio is equipped with both a central ceiling fan and a modern mini-split system for personalized heating and air conditioning. The centerpiece of the home is the luxurious, oversized bathroom. It includes a spacious walk-in rain shower, a double vanity with elegant wall-mounted faucets, a deep free-standing soaking tub, and a toilet featuring a bidet and heated seat. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, boasting a four-burner smart electric range and oven (controllable via your smartphone), a microwave, and a full-sized refrigerator. Please note: This rental is intended for single occupancy. Additionally, we do not allow pets. While this studio is classified as a JADU and shares a structural connection to the main house, the interior connecting door remains permanently locked, and the lockable entrance at the top of the stairs provides complete security and seclusion for your stay. The rent includes all utilities with the understanding that the usage will be for one person. So we require prior approval for any overnight guests. However, we are flexible and allow it when a family or a or a friend comes to visit on occasion during your stay.

Because this is a JADU, there is a interior door that connects the main house but remains locked at all times. There is an additional door at the top of the stairs with a lock that leads into the studio Neighborhood: This property, located in Serra Mesa is a great neighborhood that is quiet, all residential, and centrally located. You find many families taking strolls around the neighborhood with their children and pets. The neighborhood consists of mostly families and older individuals who have lived here since these houses were built.
