There is a central garden with outdoor furniture for getting some sun on a nice, warm day and plenty of space between your guesthouse and the front home (occupied by one of the owners) to ensure your privacy. The neighborhood is one of the safest in the city and is centrally located between the nature of balboa park and the fun nightlife of North Park, weekly farmers markets, and highly rated eateries. You will be 2 minutes from freeway access and within walking distance from a grocery store, public park and our favorite: an open 24/7 drive-thru Mexican restaurant with healthy eating options. This property gets great airflow due to it being on the second floor. There is a mini-split heating and Air Conditioning Unit in the living room maximizing your comfort all year round. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook your own food. There is a desk in the room with blue decor for those looking to get some work done on a tablet or laptop. Key amenities include: - High Speed Internet (really really fast, ~2000 mbps) - Air Conditioning + Heater (a wall mounted unit in the Living Room). - Two comfortable queen beds with 100% cotton sheets and blankets - Cozy living room with a smart TV - Touchpad smart lock or key available - French Press and tea kettle for Coffee (we provide some coffee to get you started!) - Gas stove, oven, microwave. Olive Oil and Spices are provided if you'd like to cook. - Washer and Dryer with detergent to get you started is included - Patio furniture just outside the unit in our shared garden (great spot to get some sun) - Lots of plants! (gardening tips welcome) The unit also has: - Clothing Iron + Ironing board - Hair Dryer - Beach Towels - Beach Chairs - Makeup removal towels - Face, hand and body towels will be provided (one per guest) - Some shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion to get you started.
