The unit is garden level, below the owners street level home. Completely separate keyless entrance to enter property. 17 outside stairs lead down to a very large private redwood deck that is your front patio. This back side of the property is tucked above a hillside with lush mature landscape. This side of the property faces east, providing sun and moon rising views. Glass paned French doors with retractable screens are your entry through the kitchen. Designer faux marble privacy panels for added darkness finish the doorway. Fully functional Kitchen has been equipped with all dishes, utensils, cookware, and small appliances to include coffee maker, toaster, hand mixer and Vitamix blender. In sink faucet dispenses Reverse Osmosis filtered drinking water. 3 ceiling fans in living room/kitchen with additional standing fan with remote for bedroom. Built in wall AC unit in living room cools the entire unit when needed. This suite tends to stay cooler in warm weather due to it's being a downstairs unit. Faux fireplace serves for ambiance and/or electric heat when needed. 55" Roku TV on adjustable mount to view from entire kitchen/living room area. New leather sofa can be adjusted to serve as a full size bed. Dedicated High Speed Wifi. There is one step up to the bedroom & bath. New Queen bed with Novafoam mattress and 3 sets of sheets. Bedside tables with touch operated lamps have built in USB ports. The bedroom has no windows so is great for a day sleeper. Adequate closet space with shelf and cube storage instead of a dresser. Full size bathroom has a tub & shower with dual shower heads. New sink & vanity Plush towels & washcloths. Artistically stained & finished concrete floors keep the kitchen, bedroom & bath cool and smooth. One Small dog is acceptable upon approval by owner. We first need to meet your pup either in person or on Zoom. Due to the nature of the hillside property, and nighttime critters, it is essential to never leave your dog unattended while outside on the deck. We are not accepting cats, no exceptions. Stack washer/dryer unit in separate storage on deck right outside your kitchen door. We provide bi-weekly light cleaning by a professional service. This includes floors, countertops and stovetop. The small amount of reviews is because this unit has been an unfurnished long term rental for 24 years. It has been newly remodeled and now furnished for short term rentals. We are seasoned landlords who are proud of our property . We are a family of 3 adults who will be living upstairs. We are told the only sound from above is our tiny dog's feet, but other than that this unit feels totally private and secluded. This property is perfect for those who are looking for privacy, quiet and security, while being centrally located. 1 mile in either direction puts you at Trader Joes, Target, Walmart & Sam's Club. A short 4 block walk puts you at CVS and Vons (Safeway). Fashion Valley Mall is 6 miles away The beaches of Pacific & Ocean Beach are 12 miles, Mission Bay is 9 miles and gorgeous La Jolla Cove is 14 miles away. Petco Park Stadium in Downtown is 6 miles away. And finally San Diego Airport is 7.7 miles away. 30 days is the minimum stay, yet we are convinced you will want to stay longer once you see how special this property is!
