The Casita is a small house in our sloped back yard. It is accessible a few ways (down the side of our house, or from the alleyway behind our house), but is far enough apart from our house that you feel like it's your own space. The rooftop deck (shared space with our house) has a grill and firepit, and you can see Coronado Island and a bit of the San Diego bay from the top. The Casita was built in 2019 and has great amenities. The Casita is accessible from the front of the main house, there is a pathway down the hill of concrete stairs and turf/pavers. The alleyway next to the Casita is narrow but easily accessible from a main street, and parking is available on the main street or next to the Casita in a dirt spot. Our property is a quiet neighborhood with restaurants, breweries, beaches, and a grocery store within walking distance.
