We're renting our home February-March, 2027. Perfect for a medium-term stay...or perhaps a launching spot while you locate something more permanent here in SF! Our home on the south face of Mt. Davidson features a fully equipped, up-to-date chef's kitchen and open-plan living and dining room. The property faces south towards a lovely view, all the way from SF Bay to the Pacific Ocean, with loads of natural light. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the comfortable living room. Hawks, parrots and other birds fly right past our window! Some of the kitchen's amenities: Blue Star stove and oven, pots, pans, knives, coffee roaster, coffee grinder, KitchenAid mixer, blender, food processor, hand mixer, kettle, Crockpot, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher. Note that our refrigerator is "full size" but slender by American standards. There's also a backup freezer (properly full size) in the garage. The backyard is pretty wild and on a steep slope, but there's a deck for sitting outside as well as a community garden just across the street where neighbors hang out and enjoy SF's mild climate. The first bedroom has two closets and looks out over the street. We're not a busy neighborhood and there are no facing houses, so it's quiet and very private for a city home. The second bedroom with en suite bathroom (toilet and shower) is just off the garage and faces the mountain slope, making it even quieter with a view of the trees. Washing machine and dryer in the garage. Garage has space for one car and there is (unusually for SF) loads of street parking. In addition to the two bedrooms, our home features an office with a desk and spare widescreen monitor, music equipment (use with care as we have directly attached neighbors), and a treadmill. Note that we do not own a TV, but we have very fast internet through Sonic.

The space

Leaving SF for two months, February-March, 2027. Fabulous view stretching from bay to ocean. Chefs kitchen, 2 BR, 2 BA, office, parking, central heating and vacuum, washer, dryer. Lovely community garden across the street. UNRESTRICTED street parking (unusual in SF!), so no unexpected parking tickets/towing because you accidentally left your car out. Close to both 280 and 101, so commuting easy to peninsula or SFO. Muni and BART accessible from nearby. Neighborhood: We're located on Mount Davidson, the highest point in San Francisco, with beautiful views from the Bay to the Pacific Ocean. A short hike to the summit of the mountain will reveal views of the East Bay, North Bay, and the San Bruno Mountains...and a famous filming location from the movie "Dirty Harry." Nearby neighborhoods with shops and restaurants include West Portal, Glen Park, Diamond Heights, and Noe Valley.
