*** THE AREA *** Our cottage is a detached guesthouse tucked in the backyard of a quaint San Francisco Edwardian. The back of the unit faces an alleyway with little foot track, making it a tranquil escape from the busy city. Located in the heart of the city, our cozy cottage is the perfect location to explore by foot and public transportation. By walking, you are only 15-30 minutes away from many attractions: Lombard St, Downtown, Chinatown, Japantown, Marina District, FiDi, Fishermans Wharf, and more. Multiple Muni and Cable Car stops are within 2-3 blocks away. Plenty of delicious restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. There is a Trader Joes, CVS, and Walgreens 3 blocks from the unit. *** THE SPACE *** The space features 2 bedrooms with queen size memory foam mattresses to comfortably sleep up to 4 guests. Each room has a desk and desk chair to accommodate remote workers who are traveling. The first bedroom has pocket styled doors that give the space a unique and rustic feel. Ample natural sunlight comes through 3 skylights, giving the cottage a bright and airy feel. There is 1 full kitchen equipped with appliances, dish-ware, and basic cooking seasoning. Additionally, there is 1 bathroom and 1 living room. A shared yard in front of the cottage is open for you to enjoy sunshine and fresh air. Fast cable internet, central heating, board games, and a bluetooth speaker is provided. *** LAUNDRY *** There is a shared laundry unit on the premises, accessible by walking up two flights of stairs. Please ensure that you are comfortable with stairs in order to access this space. *** PARKING *** The garage can fit 1 small, compact car with the dimensions of: 180 L x 71 W x 56-57 H. Please be advised that anything bigger will NOT fit. Alternatively, there is a public parking garage that is a short walk from the unit. *** Note that the cottage does NOT have: *** - Dish washer - Central cooling system (portable fan provided in the summer or upon request)
