NOTE: The cottage is being updated and new photos will be uploaded shortly. The cottage is in the back of our property. There is a small yard and hot tub between our house and the cottage. We don't use the hot tub that often and you'll have access. The space was renovated about two years ago. We've mainly used it for friends and family and everyone has enjoyed it. As mentioned earlier, there is a chicken coop next to the bedroom window. They can be a bit noisy, chickens only - no roosters. You can enter through the garage, which we'll always keep tidy, or the alley that runs behind all of our houses. We have a dog who has full access to the yard. She's friendly and will probably enjoy the extra company. To give you some perspective on the privacy of the space, our teenage daughters often used it to hang out with friends and not be around their parents. There is a hallway that leads to the alley we use for access and to take care of the chickens. The cottage living space is totally separate and behind a locked door.

The space

The space is a studio with a partial wall that creates privacy for the bedroom. There is a full kitchen with all appliances, including a microwave and coffee maker. There is storage and a closet area. The bathroom has a tub/shower and vanity. It is located on an alley, so there is outdoor space and a small patio. The entrance is through our garage, which is opened with an electronic keypad. It was recently renovated and is currently being upgraded to make it more comfortable and maximize space.
