This gorgeous suite is the entire upper level of my bright, cozy, tastefully-furnished home in the sunny south-east corner of San Francisco. I share the home with my two sweet, friendly labs (they are not allowed upstairs). On the main level is a sunny living room with lots of happy plants, a fully equipped kitchen, and the stairs to your private suite. You also have access to the backyard with a sunny deck and lots of flowers, shrubs, and fruit trees. There's lots of greenery throughout the home. My private quarters (bedroom, office, and bathroom) are on the main level as you enter the home. The house is located on a quiet street, a few blocks north of Bayview Park, a hidden, little known gem with oak, eucalyptus, and cherry groves and stunning panoramic views. We are also close to Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, Heron's Head Park & Eco-Center, and India Basin Shoreline Park (all on the bay), and the rolling hills of McLaren Park, the city's second largest park. Close to the San Bruno commercial corridor (Portola District) and the 3rd Street commercial corridor (Bayview District). Easy freeway access to 280, 101, and 80. The airport is a 10-15 minutes drive away, depending on traffic. The Muni T-Third light rail is two blocks away and takes you to Mission Bay (Kaiser Mission Bay, UCSF Mission Bay, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, One Medical, Dignity Health, Saint Francis Memorial, Cardinal Medical), downtown, Union Square, and Chinatown. The 29 Sunset goes to Balboa Park BART, Stonestown shopping center, SFSU, Sunset District, Golden Gate Park, Richmond District, and the Presidio. It also connects nearby to the 9 San Bruno, which goes to the Mission/Potrero. The on-demand Bayview Shuttle will take you door-to-door anywhere within the neighborhood and also to SF General, 24th St Bart, 22nd St or Bayshore Caltrain for the price of a bus ticket (though they rarely charge).

The space

"The Nest" is a unique three-room attic suite in my vintage Edwardian home. It has a quiet, peaceful bedroom with north-facing windows and black-out curtains, a newly updated bathroom with a sunlit shower and venting skylight, and a stylish den that looks out onto the sunny back garden and Bayview Park, the wooded hill behind the house that's a few blocks away. Neighborhood: Invitingly tranquil yet close to restaurants/cafes and other amenities, Bret Harte is a diverse, community-focused neighborhood nestled in the sunny Bayview district. Throughout Bret Harte, you'll notice an easy pace of life, where quiet, quaint blocks mingle with the urban vibrancy of a city. This appealing setting is enriched by views of Twin Peaks, dramatic downtown skyline scenes, and stunning panoramic landscapes stretching across the iconic Bay Bridge to the shimmering San Francisco Bay.
