This listing is for ONE room in a two bedroom apartment. Only interested in professionals who are conscientious and clean. Common areas must be kept tidy out of respect for the other tenant and to keep cleaning costs fair. The smaller room is occupied. This is a four story brick building with a secure key door for entry, and stairs/ elevator to access floors. We are on the first floor (one flight up), and have access to the backyard which is lovely - large avocado trees and a garden. There is a private patio balcony that has weight equipment, gas BBQ, and chairs looking over the garden. There are two coin-operated washer/ dryers on the ground floor, or wash n fold services within blocks. The apartment is very bright, but the room for rent can be darkened more if the shades are not enough. The common areas are furnished with all the basics for casual relaxing and TV watching. I have a firestick with live TV and every channel you can ask for, and WiFi is included (all utilities are). The bathroom that goes with the smaller room is located in the hallway. The second bathroom is used by the master bedroom tenant, currently for rent. Shower pressure and heat are top notch! Tenants are all young professionals, some with dogs, and everyone is very friendly. There is one small storage unit in the garage for your luggage or boxes, and enough room on the balcony for a bike (or you can tether it in the parking spot which isn't for rent but fine for a bike). I've had happy renters forever, and I'm happy to provide references. The marina is ideal for people without cars.

The space

1200 square foot apartment, 12 x 18 foot room for rent in 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom unit on the first floor (up one flight of stairs/ elevator), with secured parking space. This will rent fast. Washer/dryer room are downstairs and shared. Back yard is shared and tenants can garden back there. It is used most often for dogs in the building, but occassionally someone will throw a BBQ. We are located within a very close proximity to many parks and the beach. Neighborhood: Young, professional, and a mix of families and elderly. This is a flat part of the city, and one of the top three most desired areas for single, young professionals. Walk or ride to the beach within minutes. Grocery stores, specialty shops, bars, restaurants, gyms, and coffee shops - all start within 3 blocks or less. A popular area, you can get to the ferry, the wharf, or the bridge in minutes. Joggers love it here; trails to the Presidio, or beach run to the bridge are amazing. Shopping, too!
