The home has a warm, lived-in Santa Fe feel with wood details, tile floors, cozy shared spaces, and plenty of natural light. The kitchen and dining areas are shared, and the backyard offers space to relax outside. The bathroom is semi-shared with the other guest room when we have guests. The home is quiet overall, but it is not pet-free--three cats and two dogs live on the property and will interact with guests, so this is best for someone who genuinely likes animals. The backyard is an acre lot with chickens, large vegetable garden, and newly planted fruit trees. While it's a work in progress, it is a quiet place to relax with a hammock and other patio furniture. The rental works well for someone who wants privacy in their own room and sitting area, while also having access to the common spaces of a friendly, shared home.

The room includes a full-size closet, new Casper queen mattress, desk/workspace, private living area with TV, and self-controlled heating and air conditioning through a mini-split.
