South Burlington townhome in a quiet residential neighborhood/conservation community. A local, organic farm stand is right next door. The fields and greenhouses are visible from your bedroom window. Bike/walking paths and open green space are literally steps away. We are about 10 minutes' easy drive from UVM Medical Center, through well-maintained, quiet streets via the Champlain College and University of Vermont campuses. Shelburne Farms is the same distance in the other direction. The walking trails are free and a wonderful antidote to the stresses of work! SHARED SPACES. A plant-filled living room, full kitchen, on-site laundry, and all the amenities of living in a conservation community. You can even have your own garden plot if you're here in the summer. THE HOUSEHOLD. You'd be sharing the house with two pleasant, sometimes chatty and sometimes not introverts (a mom and her almost 18-year-old neurodivergent daughter), a friendly young cat, and a small senior dog. We're neat (most of the time), quiet, non-smoking, and non-drinking. Fair warning: we like to cook and have a tendency to look out for the people who live here. For example, tenants who work nights have been known to come home to a home-cooked meal left out for them when they get in at 2am. Freshly baked cookies on the counter for the taking are also not uncommon. Join us for dinner occasionally or keep to yourself. Both are genuinely fine. We rent two bright, comfortably-furnished bedrooms in our modern townhome. You can rent one or both, depending on availability.

The space

THE ROOMS. The larger has views of Lake Champlain, a queen bed, a dining nook, and a private ensuite bathroom. The smaller has a full-sized bed, a shared bathroom, and bookshelves. Both rooms have closets with plenty of room to settle in. Each has a desk, a mini-fridge, microwave, and TV. Large windows let lots of sunlight in, and the bathrooms have radiant heat floors that keep your toes toasty in winter! $1,395/mo ($45/night) for the larger, $1,100/mo ($37/night) for the smaller. Minimum 30-day stay.
