Enjoying your morning coffee or a meal on the large deck in front of the house you are aware that you are in natures cathedral. This tranquil haven is perfect for those seeking a new, beautiful eco-friendly home to call home for a month or two or three. The cottage was designed and built to reflect the great peace and beauty of the land on which is sits. Situated between two pristine brooks amidst rolling forested hills. You can hear the waterfalls even when the windows are closed and on warm days you can swim in the pristine clear pools. Remember, even when you are inside resting or cooking or planning your next adventure you are in the midst of Green Mountains. If you are alert, especially earlier in the day, you'll likely see the local forest inhabitants foraging in the field in front of the house. Fully equipped work station with very fast Wi-Fi, a full kitchen and laundry area and a beautiful cozy propane fireplace you have everything you need to be very productive. If you want to party, this place is not for you. Our Eco-Friendly, magical retreat house was designed and built to reflect the great peace and beauty of the 90-acre parcel of land on which it sits. Walking through the front door, your attention soars with the lofty timber frame and glass architecture design that showcases the beauty of the forested hills and field before you. The super-efficient mini-split heat pump and direct vent propane fireplace provide cozy warmth and romantic ambiance in the evening. Walking outside through the glass doors, you are in the midst of the Vermont Green Mountains. Reclining on the deck that spans the front of the retreat house, it will be clear that you are in a very special place. Even when you are inside relaxing, cooking or planning your next adventure, you will still feel that you are in the enveloped by nature thanks to the numerous glass windows surrounding you. Situated between two pristine brooks amidst rolling forested hills, you can hear the waterfalls even when the windows are closed and on warm days you may wish to swim in the cool, clear, natural pools of the brooks. This is a place to explore and absorb the beauty and peace of your surroundings with friends or family. If you want to party, this place is not for you. Crossing our beautiful private bridge over the rushing waterfalls that carved its way through the rock ledge for tens of thousands of years, you turn into your own private road This is your retreat cottage as long as you choose to stay. There is an acre clearing in the front of the house where deer and turkeys are frequent visitors - if you are alert, you'll likely see hawks, eagles and foxes, etc. in the brooks surrounding you may see resident minks and otters. The master bedroom is the 2nd floor loft; both bedrooms have new pillow top queen mattresses. Surrounded by natural beauty, you can still enjoy high-speed wifi, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and on-demand mini-split heat pump which is the most efficient way to heat a house in Vermont/NH. Road and mountain biking and hiking along the brooks is immediately accessible with kayaking/canoeing within a 15 - 30 min drive.... Mount Snow is only 15 minutes away and Stratton ski is 30 min away. The nearby towns are Brattleboro (30 min drive), Wilmington (20 min) and Newfane 20 min) and they offer many boutiques, restaurants/breweries, grocery stores and pharmacies. You can explore the geologically unique brooks right outside your door, with a half mile of trails to enjoy alongside the rushing waters and numerous waterfalls. Long term rental available. The only sounds you will here are the sounds of the forest and the waterfalls. 5 min walk to the beautiful book and waterfalls. The house is immaculate and spacious.
