Available October 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027. Our gorgeous mid-century modern 3 bedroom 2 bath furnished home is available to rent! Designed by Robert Carl Williams, the first/upper level has an open living room with fieldstone fireplace, wide pine floors, natural woodwork, solid six-panel interior doors, and an abundance of windows and sliders that go out to the huge deck that is the whole width of the house. It's truly like living in a treehouse. Also on the upper level is the bright kitchen, first full bathroom/laundry room, and roomy closet. Downstairs has two large bedrooms and a third bunk-room bedroom and the second full bathroom (with bathtub). The house also has a large basement for storage. We bought the house five years ago and have replaced all carpet, painted, insulated both attic and basement, updated furniture, purchased a brand-new washer/dryer, installed huge Vermont Castings insert, and installed heat/AC pumps. The Green Mountain National Forest Peavine Area is a very short walk from the house - enjoy the White River every day! The house is 15 minutes or less from: Tozier's Seafood, Texas Falls, Sandy's bookstore and bakery, Rochester Square, Pittsfield Original General Store, Wild Fern, Sable. It's 30 minutes from: Randolph (Saap Thai, Thrift Shop, Book Shop, and Playhouse Movie Theater), Rutland (Farmer's Market, Walmart, Hannaford, Aldi, TJ Maxx, Home Depot, etc), Royalton (Worthy Burger), Bethel (Babe's Bar, Cockadoodle Pizza), and more. An hour and fifteen minutes from Burlington, Stowe and Montpelier are both about an hour. The house is extremely centrally located. Rent is $3200/month and includes: ECFiber high speed internet, water, electricity, firewood, and snow plowing of parking pad and road to house. Pets ok on a case by case basis and with a small pet fee. Please email me if interested. No application fee required.
