A restored 1840s home two blocks from Main Street in the village of Trumansburg, available fully furnished for a monthly stay from February 1 to May 1, 2027. This is our own family home, kept the way we keep it for ourselves: wide-plank floors, gas fireplaces, organic latex mattresses in every bedroom, and a cook's kitchen with a gas stove and double oven. There is a dedicated office with a door, fast wifi, a home gym, and a wood-fired sauna in the backyard that runs all winter. The attached Black Walnut Apartment, with its own entrance, is included and works well for a nanny, a guest or a second work space. Stays are 28 to 29 nights, and we speak with every guest before confirming. Taughannock Falls is five minutes away, and Ithaca and Cornell are about twenty minutes by car.

The space

Four bedrooms upstairs, each with its own mini-split, plus an office with a pull-out behind a door that closes. Primary suite: king bed, ensuite with soaking tub and jetted tub, gas fireplace. Two queen bedrooms and a Montessori floor bed. Cook's kitchen with gas stove, double oven and bar seating. Dining table for twelve, large sectional by the fireplace. Wifi 232 Mbps, home gym, fenced yard with fire pit, parking for 6+, EV charger, firewood for the sauna. Quiet hours 10 PM to 7 AM.
