While only 5 miles from down-town Tucson with its vibrant art scene and unique restaurants, guests will feel like they are living in the desert and spot many beautiful native birds, ground squirrels and other wild creatures including javelina who visit the area. Open the front door and guests are treated to an interior sculpture garden accessible through sliding doors off the great room, yet is open to the sky. As a very unique feature it allows complete privacy for fresh air, contemplation and sun. In the spacious gourmet kitchen you'll find what ever you need. Break out the Kitchen Aid mixer and cook up a 7-course meal or just enjoy cereal at the huge island with seating for 4. Have coffee on the porch as the sun comes up. In addition, you'll find a picnic set and pool safe drink ware ready to go to any of 126 miles of hiking paths, lounging at the pool or other adventures. For an extra convenience, you'll have a refrigerator and pantry stock with a few essentials just to tide you over. The terrace just off the kitchen, has a shaded porch, is fully furnished with a loveseat, BBQ grill, table, chairs and has a 4' metal fence with locking gate. It's the place to enjoy the changing light across the Catalina Mountains and view city lights during the evening. From October to May you can watch the double-sunset of light reflected back on Catalinas. Arizona is famous for incredible sunsets and this one even more magical. In the primary bedroom and bath you'll find a spacious shower, built-in 6 drawer vanity, smart TV and access to the covered patio. The second bedroom has two twin beds and tidy bedside shelves for the essentials. Both bedrooms have ample closets with organizational shelves and cubbies. The full bath down the hall from the second bedroom, has extra deep drawers with plenty of space for towels and person items. Hair dryers are in each bathroom. The office has a good-sized table, task chair, loveseat, file cabinet for printer and storage as well as a small stationary bike and full closet. It has access to the porch and terrace. The keyed-entry, complex pool area is exceptionally beautiful with mature trees and grass which also features an enclosed ramada, hot tub, restrooms, bar with sink and serving counter as well as a community BBQ area for charcoal grilling. During the winter season, the pool is heated. Explore Arizona which has almost every climate zone within a 5 hours drive, including the Grand Canyon, the Baja of Mexico and Pacific Ocean.
