This is a charming, tastefully decorated apartment with high ceilings and windows that fill the place with light. There is lovely artwork, collected over time, on the walls throughout. There are two tall bookcases, one up, one downstairs, loaded with art/architecture books and quite a lot of useful fiction . Much to choose from. The bathroom is roomy and boasts a very popular clawfoot tub. There is also a large shower, with nice optional handheld showerhead. The kitchen, also roomy, has a window facing southeast that is a perfect location for morning coffee. And for the town's 4th of July fireworks display! The kitchen has a dropleaf table for 4. There are no pets allowed in the rental apartment. Be aware there is a smallish dog living with the landlady in her first floor apartment space. The two apartments share absolutely no space. They are completely separate, private.

The space

The apartment enters at street level. A twin bed is there (perhaps for an occasional visiting houseguest) but the room is an entry and stair access up to the 2nd floor, where the bulk of the apartment is. There is 1 bedroom up there with a comfy queen bed.This apartment is best for 1 person, or a couple. I am in the process of adding a laundry room and additional storage for a tenant. Hoping by Spring. Until then, I will wash sheets and towels for you. And the local laundromat is less than 1/2 mile away.
