Large, three level, light filled home in Columbia Heights, DC, on a nice street within walking distance of everything you could need! Would be a great basecamp for exploring DC, or somewhere to work remotely. Plenty of space for a family or multiple couples. The space Main floor is all living area, with large living room, dining room, and kitchen. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The largest room is a bedroom with 4 windows and a king bed. The other upstairs bedroom has a full size futon that will be folded down into a full size bed with thick mattress topper. The basement has a bedroom with a very comfortable full size bed, a living room with a TV and a fold down couch, and a full bathroom. Please note that in the basement the ceiling are 6'2", and there is one section of drywall stretching the length of the basement at 5'7" (watch your head)! For that reason it may not be comfortable for taller people to spend significant time there or to stay in that bedroom. There is also a queen sized air mattress and bedding for guest use in the house as needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, seasonings, condiments, a coffee maker, coffee, tea, and dishwasher. It's a really big kitchen and a great place to cook. There are also two small outdoor areas. We have a small fenced back patio (great to let dogs out) with a gas grill, an outdoor sofa, and umbrella. There's also a front porch with a table and two chairs. We have really fast Wifi. Both TVs have Apple TVs for streaming (you can use our Netflix and Hulu accounts). This is our full-time home, and we rent it out when we are traveling. That means it should be fully stocked with almost anything you might need during your stay. Please note that when we are home, we have 2 dogs. We work with a professional cleaner to thoroughly clean before you get here, but if you're very allergic to dogs, there's a chance that could affect you. Guest access The whole house with the exception of one locked closet in the basement and one locked room upstairs.
