We would love for you to make our cozy renovated basement apartment your home base while you're working in DC. Its located in our 120-year-old Capitol Hill row house and is just steps away from the Potomac Avenue Metro Station. We no longer live upstairs - but if there is anything you need, just let us know... we've got a neighbor "at the ready" to help out. The apartment is located within 10 miles of most Washington, DC hospitals and is VERY easily accessible by public transportation. The Potomac Avenue Metro station, where the Blue, Orange and Silver Lines run, is located a few hundred feet from our front steps. Additionally, there are several bus lines that run just half a block away. The apartment has a full kitchen which includes a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, granite counter tops, coffee maker and microwave, etc. Also included is basic service for 4, pots/pans and cooking utensils. On the weekend there is a Farmers Market located at Eastern Market. It's just a short walk to Eastern Market and Barracks Row shops and restaurants. The full bathroom includes standing shower and washer/dryer. Bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, nightstand, bookshelf and a closet. There's also an ironing board and iron in the closet. Outside the bedroom is a granite topped desk/office station. Utilities (and wifi) are included in the price of rent.
