Welcome to our chic and modern basement studio in the heart of historic Capitol Hill! Recently renovated, this charming studio is located in a beautiful row house just steps away from Eastern Market, and is a short walk from the Capitol Building, Supreme Court, metro etc. We provide a top-quality queen Casper mattress, memory foam pillows, Nespresso, and a brand new washer dryer. We have invested in noise canceling insulation, but you can still hear our little kids running around at times! The studio is in the basement of our house, and we live upstairs. The entrance is at the side of our house, and you can come and go whenever you like. The mattress is queen sized. A double size inflatable mattress is available upon request. You can have the whole studio to yourself. The areas outside and upstairs are reserved for our family. Its a typical English basement with low ceilings; only 66 ft. Not recommended for very tall people! If you intend to drive to our studio, let us know. You will need to sign up for a Park Permits Guest account with ParkDC and request to park by our home. We can then issue you with a visitor parking permit to ensure your car won't be ticketed, as we live on a residential permit parking block.

The space

The studio is in the basement of our house, and we live upstairs. The entrance is at the side of our house, and you can come and go whenever you like. The high quality mattress (made by Capser) is queen sized and has two memory foam pillows. A double size inflatable mattress is available upon request. The bathroom was completely redone recently and has a brand new washer dryer. The kitchen is limited: we have a small fridge, microwave, sink, nepresso with plenty of pods, kettle, and hot plate.
