Welcome! If you're looking for a comfortable, quiet space in DC with great shared amenities and a chill, professional-friendly atmosphere, this might be a good fit. You'll have a private bedroom and bathroom in a shared house, with full access to a fully equipped kitchen, living area, multiple balconies, and a rooftop patio. The bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed, a smart TV, a standard closet, and a desk, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Your private bathroom, located just outside the room in the hallway, features a whole tub/shower combination and a single-sink vanity. It's not shared, so you'll have it to yourself. The rest of the home is shared with the owner and possibly other housemates, but there's plenty of space to spread out. The open-concept kitchen features a large island with seating for four, a full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher, air fryer, and all the essentials needed for cooking. The living room features a sectional couch, a lounge chair, and another smart TV, along with a walk-out balcony offering fresh air or a morning coffee. You'll also have access to an upstairs den with another balcony (set up with seating) and a rooftop patio featuring a table, chairs, a grill, and a fire pit, perfect for relaxing or small gatherings. Laundry is in-house, and utilities, including WiFi, are all included in the rent. There's also a free parking spot in the back, or you can park on the street if you prefer. It's a quiet, peaceful area just two minutes from the nearest bus stop and around 20 minutes from the Metro. Union Market is nearby for restaurants, groceries, and nightlife, but you'll still be coming home to a calm and secure neighborhood. One important note: the owner has a cat, so if you have allergies, please keep that in mind. If you'd like a lock installed on the bedroom door, the owner's totally open to that, just ask. If you're looking for a clean, quiet space that fits your work-life balance, I hope this feels like a place you'd look forward to coming home to.
