7 minutes walking distance away from Columbia Heights metro, this English Basement has an in-unit laundry/dryer and is in proximity to public transportation and awesome dining opportunities. The basement has front and rear entrance. The unit is located minutes away to a free shuttle that takes you to Washington national hospital center. Washington national hospital center is located a mile away from the unit. Howard University Hospital is located about a mile away from the unit. Potential noise since it's a basement unit. expect footsteps etc. might not be suitable for a noise sensitive person. We have a white noise machine in the unit. Host reserves the right to schedule showings with prospective tenants upon pre-arranged days/times without violating privacy. We do not envision for you to spend 20 hours a day in a basement apartment in D.C but if you do, please do not complain about natural sunlight because again you are booking a basement unit =). What we provide is nothing too fancy, a clean/comfortable space equipped with all of your needs during your stay so you can rest after a long day spent on sightseeing. If you have higher expectations, waiting for turn-down &service/mint chocolate etc. in that case please do not book with us just because our apartment is cost efficient. You will be probably better off booking at Ritz=) We really care about comfort of our guests. Thus, if you encounter an issue, please let me know and I will try my best to address it. The upper unit is also rented out and if you encounter a problem regarding the upstairs tenants, do not hesitate to contact us.

Newly renovated 1 bedroom basement in the hearts of Columbia heights. it has a private entrance and unit comes with a washer and dryer and kitchen essentials. Just bring your luggage kind of turnkey place. Utilities are shared and run about 75-125$ depending on season. Advertised rent is for long term bookings. There will be a surcharge for short term requests less than 6 months.
