We are looking for a tenant on a flexible (at least 3 months) lease to rent the English basement below our Bloomingdale rowhome. The unit is a true one bedroom with a fully separated kitchen and living area and has its own laundry machine and dryer. There are separate entrances in both the front and back of the unit, and small outdoor patios in both and an enclosed backyard. The lease can start as soon as possible. The unit is furnished and is a great starter unit for someone just moving to DC. There is a couch, coffee table, TV, bed, lamp, desk, and various kitchen appliances. Wifi, electricity, and water are included. All appliances are electric so there is no gas bill. We recently redid the insulation above the unit for sound. The home is about a 5 minute walk from "downtown" Bloomingdale, including cute restaurants, bars, corner stores, and services (dry cleaner, yoga, etc). Cats are welcome but no dogs. We are a young family that live in the home above. We are happy to negotiate the length of the lease but require a 3 month minimum, and will require a deposit of one month rent.
