My home is located in the Palisades, one of Washington DCs most charming residential neighborhoods, with easy access to both Georgetown University and American University. The neighborhood is walkable, friendly, and known for feeling like a village within the city. Our neighborhood is safe and very green. The home is artsy, colorful, and comfortable rather than a sterile apartment environment. The suite set up is especially well suited for professionals, graduate students, visiting academics, healthcare workers, or anyone looking for a comfortable place to land while living or working in Washington. It provides a very private, relaxing space within the shared part of the house. The kitchen is well stocked and the laundry is in the basement. A friendly Goldendoodle, Buddy, shares the space. It is best suited for someone comfortable with the natural sounds of an occupied home environment. The front porch seating helps you feel part of the neighborhood.

The space

This is a private suite within a comfortable, upbeat, shared house. The suite includes a bedroom, separate room to use as a study or office and a private bath. The rooms are calm and uncluttered. While totally furnished, the rooms have plenty of closet space and shelves for your work stuff, books and belongings. A bathroom is between the two rooms. The living room is very comfy and the kitchen has most any gadget or coffee maker you desire. A front porch makes days with good weather accessible.
