Location is superb for accessing all of central and northern Vermont's hiking, biking, skiing, et cetera. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, like a little hidden sanctuary. The house is perched above a steep valley that offers a sweeping view of the 13 acre field and apple trees in the foreground, the winding Thatcher Brook in the middle ground, and Mount Cobb in the background. With the southern exposure, the sunlight gently floods the house from the east in the morning then provides a nice bright warmth for the day before setting behind the western mountains. Trails are cut on the 5 acres for walking down to the brook and in the field and forest. There's also a community walking path that runs through the neighborhood and up to the golf course, which becomes a 300 acre backyard in the off season 11/1 to 5/1. With its simple, minimal design, the house and property cancel out a lot of life's noise and give one the time and space to relax and contemplate life.

High end tiny house designed and constructed by Escape Tiny Homes. Everything works as it should. Comfortable downstairs bed. Premium appliances and cookware. Nook for relaxing and watching TV and dining table for eating and enjoying the view out of the big bank of windows. Loft space for visitors or nap time. Very easy, minimal place to live. Advertised rent is for single occupancy and no pets.
