Room · 750 sq ft · 1 bed · 1 bath · No pets allowed.

We are in Aptos Hills/Larkin Valley between Watsonville and Aptos, near a major road, making it both very quiet and peaceful, yet convenient and close to services. The room is downstairs; the main living area is upstairs. Two other people share the downstairs duplex, a very quiet older woman and one other renter - neither use the living room, and the other renter uses the kitchen and bathroom. Outside of the living room is a patio, barbecue facilities and a large grassy area with redwood trees and apple trees. The house is on an acre. The duplex was recently finished.

The space

The large living room has a pool table/dining room table with chairs, several comfortable chairs with a coffee table, and a TV over an electric fire place. The kitchen and bathroom come off of the living room. The kitchen is small but complete, with a good sized refrigerator, an oven and stove, a microwave, a dishwasher and a sink. It has a complete set of pots and pans as well as plates and silverware. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower. Neighborhood: On a private gated road, we are out in the country, yet close to everything. The area is called Aptos Hills/Larkin Valley, midway between Aptos and Watsonville. Walk up the street into a beautiful redwood forest. Even though it is very quiet and peaceful, we are a block away from a major road going to the freeway, so it makes for an easy commute; buses service that road, so transportation is convenient. Stores are 5-10 minutes away; the beach is 10 minutes away.
