Lovely small village just outside the art-centric city of Brattleboro, VT. This house is nestled in the village of West Dummerston, and sits in a beautiful valley, vibrant in all seasons. You are just a 5 minute walk from Jelly Mill Falls, or the inviting West River, perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing. A short drive brings to Brattleboro, and nearby are Newfane, Putney and Guilford, all known for their covered bridges. Here at the Post Office, you have a sweet garden area with a grill to retreat to. The home is beautifully appointed with truly comfortable beds and seating area. Beautiful art will spark your imagination. A gas fireplace will keep you cozy in the cold weather, and the 3 season porch invites lazy afternoons and evenings in warmer weather.

The space

As a long term stay, the "post office" home has all the skill and love my family of skills craftsmen put into it, renovating it to be a true nest. Two beautiful sunny bedrooms, a third that is currently set up as an office, offer ample spacious sleeping space. The downstairs has a lovely open floor plan with a beautifully appointed kitchen, live-edge hand -hewn bar eating area, dining area and living area. The downstairs bedroom has a walk-in closet and bathroom.
