This quaint little cottage is situated in our backyard, far enough from the main house to be private. Entry to cottage is thru our side gate. Private side yard is accessed through the sliding doors in the bedroom. Bistro table under the gazebo, chairs for relaxing with a waterfall feature. Lighting for outside dining with a BBQ. We are just under 2 acres with a summer garden to enjoy. It is quiet here with the occasional chicken (laying eggs) crickets and frogs. Several regional parks close by for hiking, closest one is 1/4 mile away. Windsor hosts a Thursday night market with music every Thursday night during summer months and a Sunday farmers market. Don't forget bordering town of Healdsburg (7 min away) for wine tasting, 5 star restaurants and shopping. Healdsburg IS a destination, which is known to many tourists. Town of Sebastopol (20 min) for more great food, breweries and The Barlow..great hangout for shopping, eating and listening to music. Bodega Bay is a 50 minute drive to enjoy the ocean and hiking and fresh dungeness crab and fresh seafood. Sonoma County is The Heart of wine tasting and events all year round. San Francisco is an hour drive away to enjoy Fishermans wharf, Golden Gate Park, museums ,hiking and plenty of restaurants with a variety of diverse foods to enjoy. Lake Tahoe is 4 1/2 hrs. a way for skiing in the winter months and hiking and lake activities in the summer. Yosemite is also a destination for our guests which is 4 1/2 hrs. away as well.
