Small (1200 SF) but comfortable two-story renovated barn adjacent to our house. The downstairs opens to a back deck, and below that a private stone patio. Although located in the residential hamlet of Taftsville, the guesthouse backs up to a small brook and 100s of acres of forested woodlands. Pets are allowed with permission, although there is no fenced in area for a dog. Nearby trail system available to town residents and guests only for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Private parking.

The space

Downstairs is a galley kitchen, dining area and sitting area (with 55" smart TV). Sliding glass doors look out to the deck, woods, and brook. Upstairs is a bedroom and bath with walk-in tiled shower. Best suited for one person or a couple.
