"Brookwood" is a three bedroom one and a half bath chalet style home. We recently completed a total renovation on the property including a brand new kitchen, featuring leathered granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, new bath, floors, roof, skylights and furnishings. Home also has 2 Tesla batteries for back up power during a power outage. The ground floor features a seating area with wood stove, great for reading or lounging after a long day of adventure. The sofa in that area is also a pullout for extra sleeping space! There is foosball table and a large sectional with a wall mounted flat screen tv for your entertainment needs. A half bath with washer and dryer can also be found on this level. Upstairs on the main living floor is the kitchen, dining, primary and secondary bedrooms, full bath, a smaller seating area with tv and windows galore. In whatever direction you look, out the windows you'll see the green of our trees, bringing the outside in. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full refrigerator with freezer, toaster oven, pots and pans, flatware, cooking utensils and plates/bowls. The dining area can seat 6 adults comfortably and there is a high chair stored in a closet for smaller children should that be needed. The primary bedroom features a queen bed with a dresser and closet for storage. The secondary bedroom has twin bunk beds along with a dresser and closet for storage. Included in this closet is a pack and play, high chair and baby gates for little ones. The main living area features a vinyl record player, tv with fire stick and a Bluetooth speaker. Tucked away in the dining room bench are many board and card games for game night fun! Right off the main living space through the double sliders space is our south facing deck with a beautiful view of Mt. Baldy. You'll find a new table and chairs for eating, a couch and chairs for lounging and taking in the views and sounds of the flowing brook just off our side yard. On the third floor we have a bright loft bedroom with two twin daybeds and a full bed. The two daybeds do pull out to queen size if needed. The loft does not have a closet but there is ample storage in a dresser and drawers under each daybed. We love our little house (really, not so little at 1600 sq ft.) and we hope you will, too. Vermont is amazing and we want your stay with us to be as memorable and peaceful as the place itself.
